The first thing you need to do when installing a new toilet is to take out the old one. It is necessary to take out the old toilet and disconnect it all from its fittings and pipes. How do you remove the toilet?
To remove and replace a toilet, first, turn off the water supply valve and flush the toilet to empty the tank and bowl. Disconnect the water supply line and loosen the bolts securing the toilet to the floor. Lift the toilet off the bolts and remove any remaining wax residue from the flange. Place a new wax ring on the flange, then position the new toilet bowl over the bolts and press down firmly to compress the wax ring. Reattach the bolts and reconnect the water supply line. Finally, turn on the water supply valve and test the toilet for proper operation.
